Q1: How much more expensive is stainless steel stamping than aluminum stamping?

For identical specifications, the unit price of stainless steel stamping parts is approximately 1.5–2 times that of aluminum stamping. Despite higher raw material and processing costs, stainless steel stamping features lower after-sales and maintenance costs under high-humidity and high-stress conditions, delivering better long-term value.

Q2: Will aluminum stampings used outdoors rust?

Untreated aluminum components will oxidize and develop white rust. We offer free anodizing service for our customers. After anodization, the aluminum stamping parts achieve ≥480 hours salt spray resistance, and can stay rust-free outdoors for 5 years.

Q3: Can stainless steel stamping parts pass food grade tests?

304 / 316 stainless steel stamping parts are eligible for FDA food contact certification. Food-grade lubricating oil is adopted throughout production to prevent contamination, suitable for food machinery, kitchenware and other food-contact applications.

Q4:What is the typical tolerance you can achieve for aluminum and stainless steel stamping parts?

We can hold tight stamping tolerances down to ±0.02mm for thin-gauge stainless steel and aluminum parts. Tolerance will vary based on material thickness, part shape and secondary processing. We will confirm the achievable tolerance with you at the drawing review stage.

Q5:Can you provide custom anodizing colors for aluminum stampings?

Yes. Besides the standard silver anodizing, we support custom black, gold, bronze and other anodized colors for aluminum stampings. Colored anodizing will not affect its ≥480h salt spray performance.
