EPDM material boasts one of the most comprehensive performance profiles among general rubber materials in the sealing industry. Ordinary rubber tends to age, harden, crack and fail when exposed to water. In contrast, EPDM features a saturated main molecular chain structure, delivering excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays, ozone and oxidation. It performs stably under complex working conditions including indoor humidity, outdoor sun exposure, alternating hot and cold temperatures, and long-term water immersion.

Our EPDM bonded washers are made of brand-new virgin EPDM rubber materials with no recycled rubber or mixed fillers. The core performance advantages are listed as follows:

• Stable operating temperature ranges from -40℃ to 120℃. The upgraded high-temperature resistant version can withstand up to 150℃, maintaining stable structure without deformation or brittle cracking during repeated cold and hot cycles.
• It can serve outdoors for 5 to 10 years without chalking, cracking or water leakage, with a far longer service life than ordinary rubber washers.
• Applicable for tap water, hot water, steam, weak acid and weak alkali working environments; no swelling, mildew or performance failure occurs after long-term immersion.
• With excellent resilience and low compression set, it can adapt to minor irregularities on flange surfaces, achieving tight sealing and completely preventing water and air leakage.

Special Note: EPDM bonded washers feature excellent water and weather resistance, but are not oil-resistant. For applications involving motor oil, diesel, or hydraulic oil, we recommend using NBR material.
